If you’re looking at a new patio, walkway, driveway, or retaining wall, you probably care about two things: how it looks and how long it lasts.
As the owner of Eli’s Paver Patios, I’ve seen too many people call us after dealing with poor work from another contractor. The most common issue? No real warranty, or no one willing to honor it.
Here’s what you need to know about how we do things differently.
Our Paver Warranty, Plain and Simple

A paver warranty shouldn’t be a vague idea or a marketing phrase. It should be a real, documented commitment that protects you if something goes wrong.
When you work with Eli’s Paver Patios, you’re not just hiring a contractor, you’re getting long-term support. We’ve built our warranties around what we know homeowners care about most: durability, accountability, and follow-through.
Here’s exactly what you can expect from our coverage
-
25-Year Workmanship Warranty on All Paver Installations
If we install it, we stand behind it. We extended this from our original 5-year warranty after over a decade of successful projects. We’ll talk more about that decision below.
-
Belgard® Lifetime Warranty on Paver Products
We use Belgard® pavers because they’re one of the few manufacturers that back their materials with a lifetime warranty. Their warranty covers cracking, breaking, or fading under normal residential use.
-
5-Year Workmanship Warranty on Retaining Walls and Artificial Turf
Our turf and wall installs are built to last. If our installation fails due to workmanship within five years, we’ll make it right.
Why We Moved from 5 Years to 25 on Paver Workmanship
A five-year warranty used to be the industry norm. But after years of seeing how our work holds up, we decided to offer more. Here’s what convinced us to change:
-
Our work holds up.
We’ve completed hundreds of installs since we opened. Less than 1% have had warranty-related callbacks and most of those were due to external issues, not how we built the project.
-
Clients were asking for long-term peace of mind.
Homeowners want to know they’re not stuck if something shifts or cracks five, ten, or twenty years down the road. Fair enough.
-
We know our process is solid.
From excavation to base compaction to joint sand sealing, we follow strict steps on every job. If something ever fails, it won’t be because we skipped a step.
What the Workmanship Warranty Covers
Let’s break it down clearly so you know what to expect.
When we say “workmanship warranty,” we’re talking about the specific parts of the job that fall under our responsibility—things we control during the installation process. If something goes wrong because we didn’t build it right, that’s on us and we’ll fix it.
You shouldn’t have to guess what’s covered. That’s why we make it simple and transparent. Here’s a breakdown of what our paver workmanship warranty includes:
- Paver Movement: If your pavers shift, sink, or separate due to improper base prep or edge restraint failures.
- Drainage Issues: If water pools or flows the wrong way due to incorrect pitch or slope.
- Joint Sand Problems: If sand loss results in shifting or weed growth, and we didn’t seal it properly.
- Incorrect Base Material or Depth: If the foundation underneath your pavers wasn’t installed to spec.
If the issue is within 25 years of your install date, we’ll repair or rebuild that area. No charge. No fine print.
What the Warranty Doesn’t Cover
Some issues aren’t related to workmanship and fall outside the scope of our warranty. These include:
- Natural events like floods, earthquakes, or major root upheaval
- Vehicle overload or equipment damage beyond design limits
- Poor maintenance (e.g., never re-sealing or cleaning your pavers for 10+ years)
- Using de-icing salts or harsh chemicals
- Settling caused by unstable or disturbed ground, we had no control over
If we didn’t cause it, we can’t cover it. But we’ll still advise you on next steps or help with repairs if possible.
Belgard’s Product Warranty: What You Need to Know
All of our pavers come from Belgard®, one of the top manufacturers in the industry. Their limited lifetime transferable warranty covers:
- Structural integrity
- Cracking and breaking under normal residential use
- Color fading from UV exposure
If a paver fails, Belgard® replaces it. We handle the replacement install if it’s also within our workmanship coverage.
And yes—it’s transferable. If you sell your home, the new owner keeps the remaining product coverage.
The Difference: Product and Workmanship Warranties
Here’s a common point of confusion:
- Product warranty = covers materials. Belgard® handles this.
- Workmanship warranty = covers installation. We handle this.
So if a paver breaks due to a factory defect, Belgard® replaces it. But if a whole section is shifting because of poor base compaction, that’s on us, and we’ll fix it.
You need both for real peace of mind. That’s why we partner with Belgard® and stand behind our own work.
How to File a Warranty Claim
We’ve made our warranty process as simple and stress-free as possible, because dealing with an issue shouldn’t feel like a hassle.
If something goes wrong and you think it might be covered under your warranty, just reach out. We won’t make you fill out endless forms or wait weeks for a response.
- Reach out. Call, email, or text us with the issue.
- Send photos. It helps us determine if the problem is warranty-related.
- Inspection. We’ll visit the site to assess the damage.
- Resolution. If it’s covered, we repair or replace the work at no cost.
We believe in being responsive, honest, and clear. Whether it’s a small concern or a bigger repair, we’ll walk you through it step by step and handle the issue quickly if it’s within warranty terms.
No long forms. No finger-pointing. We just fix it.
Why a Warranty Should Matter to You
A patio is a long-term investment. So is your driveway. You want it to last, not just look good for a season. Before you sign with any contractor, ask these questions:
- How long is your warranty, and what does it cover?
- Is it in writing?
- What’s excluded?
- Who do I call if there’s a problem?
If they can’t answer clearly, move on.
The Bottom Line
Eli’s Paver Patios doesn’t install and disappear. We’re here for the long haul. That’s why we’ve built our warranties to reflect how we do business—honestly, professionally, and with accountability.
If you’re planning a project and want clarity about what’s protected and what’s not, reach out. I’ll personally make sure you get the information you need.
